Born in İzmir in 1993, Günay completed his high school education at Konak Anatolian High School. After graduating from Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Architecture in 2016, he worked in different architectural offices in Izmir during his six-year career. Most recently, he worked as a project manager in a foreign company and started working at Not Mimarlık full-time in December 2022.
